Happy 1st bday, big boy!

Look at this big handsome boy! Can’t believe this year went by so fast. I saw him a few times this year – when he was just 10 days old and then again when he was a big boy of 3 months old, and then just now, for his one year pictures.   It was his ACTUAL birthday, too – last week.  I always feel so honored to spend birthdays with little ones, and this guy was so much fun.

Sorry these pictures took me so long to send to you guys!

His block was stuck under the chair.  Um, some help here?

Loved seeing you again, big man :)

Big boys with their new baby sister

These crazies were my 6th mini-shoot in the Boston Public Garden on the 23rd, and they had a blast:

Look at handsome big brother J – getting so grown up!  Do you believe the eyelashes?

And now little brother A has become big brother A with the addition of his new baby sister.  He’s growing up too!

They’re both so loving with J:

Flying sister!

Giggles with Dad:

Loved seeing ALL you guys!

Rolls, eyelashes and the best pout

I hadn’t seen this little beauty since she was just a teenie, tiny, newborn.  It’s been a year, and she is such an adorable little one year old now!  Let’s start with this one, so you can see the rolls:

I love the edge of a smile you can see here on baby A as she goes nose to nose with her mama:

And here’s a real closeup on the eyelashes – because I was afraid you wouldn’t believe me if I told you about them without showing them to you…

Awesome hair, eh?

She looks a little like she’s in jail here… but these wrist rolls and fat little fingers kill me:

And then I had to show you the pout.  Don’t you just love it?  The pretty eyes and the pout here…

I love her attitude and rolls here:

Mouthful of yogurt :)

A combo of the pout and the mouthful -

And last of all, a toss in the air from dad – with hair blowing in the breeze!

Matching girls

These sweet sisters sported some fantastic matching sailor dresses for their photoshoot last weekend, but in this shot I love how they match in so many other ways – the tilting heads, the smiling eyes, the shape of their mouths… incredible likeness.

Big sister M played on the swings – love the eyelashes here:

A pretty smile before jumping to Daddy:

Unbridled joy as she climbs her favorite part of the swingset:

Big sister M kept leaning over to whisper in little sister J’s ear – I loved their connection, so amazing to see :)

Peek-a-boo!

With their mama and daddy looking on:

Love the light reflecting in J’s face here, as her hair blows in the wind:

Wonderful to see you guys again, thanks for having me out!

Brother-o-mine

Nothing beats a mom and her baby shot, in my mind.  Nothing.

Do you believe big brother C with his little 10 week old brother here?  They see us pinching those sweet cheeks all the time, it’s hard for them not to do it, too.  Luckily little C doesn’t seem to mind.

And when you have the coolest mobile in the world in your room, sometimes you just want to gaze up at it together:

Taking some time with bro’s toes:

A belly tickle:

And the adoration here, as little C stares at big C…. Not to mention the eyelashes! Fantastic.

A mama snuggle/attack:

Big boy holding up his head!  Done with tummy time for today, thank you very much.

Three generations together:

Grandma and her boys:

Love this fat little hand shot, grabbed it as he snoozed at the end of the shoot…

Thirty tootsies and a big fat kiss

Ooh I had no idea we’d gotten this shot during the session, and when I started editing them I was so excited when I found it!  LOVE this.

I came to celebrate B’s first birthday a couple of weeks ago, and because I’d done cute little nudie bum pictures of his big sisters years ago, we had to embarrass Mr. B the same way.  But this one is just perfect, clenching and all:

Incredible, incredible eyelashes.

This one cracks me up, especially big sister A in the background :)

Those tootsies I mentioned:

What great twinkley eyes on this big one year old boy:

Lovely big sister R:

And what incredible eyes on biggest sister A:

I feel like Mr. B is saying “Wait, wait…!”  :)

Classic six month old babe

I’ve known this guy’s momma for almost nineteen years! We must have been babies when we met… because aren’t I only about 19 years old? Oy.

As I was looking through these photos we got at T’s session, I started to feel like they’re just such classic moments for a six month old’s photoshoot.  The hand reaching…

The awesome facial expressions, showing off his pushing up skills:

Grabbing the toes, of course:

Such a perfect “baby” moment:

Beautiful toesies:

And of course taking a moment to fuss – but so beautifully!  I always feel awful shooting the crying, but it’s just hard not to when they look so perfect doing it.

And a last handsome boy shot.  Had such a great time seeing you!

I’m an old friend of Elizabeth’s. These photos are amazing. I’d love you to photograph my kids!

Happy first birthday, smiling dude

I had to work hard to make sure that every picture of this little guy wasn’t smiling, because he’s just such a happy guy.  I think this is my favorite shot, though:

Look at these killer eyelashes, too:

And using his walker, a total pro:

Relaxing with the whole gang:

High-five for mom:

Showing off the crawling skills.  I feel like his right hand looks like he’s drumming his fingers here, waiting for something important…

This big boy just turned ONE, so we had to take a picture in front of the mural dad painted:

Actually, this next picture is competing to be my favorite one… I’m going back and forth.

This one cracks me up – belly!

So much fun to spend time with you guys.

These are fantastic! What a little ham!

Two times the Father’s Day fun

I’m in a Father’s Day mood because I’ve spent much of the past few days designing Father’s Day photobooks – so I’m sorry if this is a bit early… but isn’t this the best daddy moment? The girls thought their dad was just too hilarious.

I met these girls when they were teenie little 8 week old cuties last fall, and now they’re gorgeous nine month old ladies. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – I love 9-10 months old photoshoots, and this one had fun times two.
