Hands down, my favorite. But there are so many fun ones here that we may need a caption contest… or maybe just a really cool holiday card… ;)

You guys make me happy every time – thanks for a great shoot!

You guys make me happy every time – thanks for a great shoot!
I love when pictures tell a story, like when you start with a moment like this…
And lead to a moment like this :)
Wheeeee
The girls…
And the boys…
Monte counts!
Wonderful to see you guys as always.
no comments I’ve adored documenting these guys as their family’s expanded over the years. Now they’ve got these four sets of eyes that make for such incredible pictures!
Just the twins:
And in no particular order:
Warming up by the fire:
Loved seeing you guys. And don’t hate me for posting this adorable shot of all six of you – even with hand placement as it is… I mean, these things happen. They crack me up when they do – and sometimes I just have to post it to give you guys a giggle. Hehe.
no comments Cracking right up :)
The curls and the dimples on little L kill me :)
Loved seeing you guys as always!
no comments So for those of you who know this guy, you might have a sense of just how FAST this whole photoshoot was. His energy is fantastic and amazing, and he’s one lucky dude to have parents and grandparents who can keep up with him :) You know what, though? I love this one best, when he left the more staged setup on the chaise and came and sat down in the front. Awesome.
We had a couple of quiet moment before he zipped away…
And then off he went.
Quickest hug ever:
Love the energy in this one:
So fun to get to know you guys! Thanks for having me :)
no comments I’m going to let these adorable three speak for themselves :)
(Oh wait, but one quick story – love the urgency on biggest sister K’s face here – she’s telling us that her brother’s falling off the swing. We all thought it was hilarious, and the big girls kept telling us he really was falling. Mom grabbed him, eventually, but I just love this stressful but awesome moment.)
Love pup catching some air in the background here:
Loved seeing you guys!
no comments OK, before I show you all the adorable pictures of these two guys, I had to start with the most awesome mom shot. If this doesn’t tell the story of a mom of two boys under three, I don’t know what does :)
Now back to these two handsome boys:
Whee!
Grandpa stopped by so we could make sure we got a three generations shot:
And my dad made the connection with this family for me, so I had to post this one in his honor. I know he wishes his granddaughters took the same interest in golf as this little guy.
Wonderful to meet you guys!

You really connected with the kids. Thank you for capturing so very special moments! We had a blast. So much history, so little space on the blog. My college roommate’s kids are getting bigger and bigger, and last weekend we did pictures to mark little sister K’s passage into the year-and-a-half era – just as we’d done for big boy N a few years ago. We didn’t torture her with making her crawl nude across the beach as we’d done to her brother, but she was happy to play bubbles outside with her three favorite people.
Antique firetruck fun:
And then the bubbles came out…
This is so cool.
My brother is so good at blowing bubbles, LOOK!
Pretty lady.
Dad’s got some skeeels too…
Wonderful to see you guys, I’m so glad we did this :)

Jess, you are a true artist! These are terrific and I can only imagine how difficult it is to get two children looking good at the same time! I’m in my ninth year as a baby photographer (in May 2012 I start my 10th year!), and these guys are the first family to hit the ten shoots mark. Congrats, guys! I have loved each and every shoot we’ve had over the years, and I’m always so honored to come back and see you. These three boys make me so happy – they have such fun together.
See?
One mama shot with her whole pile:
Mama with her baby:
And one of the five all together –
Daddy shots…
With his oldest, giggling:
With the middle guy, horrified by the spectators discussing a girl from his class…
And giving the littlest a swing:
You guys are wonderful as always!
Tossing the ball around with two of their beautiful cousins. What a team!
no comments It’s been a few years since I saw these guys – and since I saw them they’ve added a lovely lady to their brood.
She’s such a fun addition.
Don’t get me wrong, the boys still have a blast just the two of them…
But it’s fun to see how much they crack her up, too.
Sometimes everyone doesn’t quite jump at the same time. But that’s OK, because this is pretty fantastic, too…
So fun to see you guys!

This Grandmother loves every photo… August 1, 2011 - 9:08 pm
Great pictures…..love them all Back in the winter of 2008, I took pictures of these guys for the first time. It was snowy out, everyone was chilly – but absolutely adorable - of course. Now here we are starting up the summer of 2011 – YAY JUNE!! – and I got to come back and play with these guys again.
In that same little windowseat we used a few years ago – but now look how big!
Wheee
Double wheeeee
Love how A is all bright and glowing in her dress as she swings into a patch of sunlight here:
Wonderful to see you guys again!
no comments For the 2nd time shooting these awesome kiddos, we played in their driveway – and it was, again, super fun. Their mom jokingly apologized for her kids running me over with the car, but how fantastic is this cool, functional Mustang? A few skidmarks on my jeans are totally worth the giggley faces. Now you might remember this driveway from our shoot a couple of years ago, when the most opportune thing happened – the mailman arrived with the mail and we got the most perfect shot of the two kids and their pup going out to say hi to the mailman. It really is one of my all-time favorite moments captured. You can see that old pic at the bottom of this post from two years ago.
But this year’s pictures are pretty great too – now that these guys are six and four, they have the best time together.
Except when sometimes they don’t. ;)
Lovely lady.
Sweet, freckled kanga.
Zooom!
Wheeee…
Wonderful to see you guys again!

Makes me want to meet your adorable munchkins some day even more. I love the natural look of happiness captured in the photos. June 1, 2011 - 3:38 pm
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Been a few years since I’ve seen these guys, and while their little sister M went from two to five in those years and has stayed adorable and super fun – big brothers A and C have spent those years growing into handsome, cool young men. They were even willing to hang out with their parents in the backyard and tickle their little sister. First, Miss M:
C:
And A:
And just a couple mama/daddy littlest girl pictures…
Squeeeeeze.
You guys were fantastic, thanks for having me out!
no comments Two years ago I met big sister M at her 3 month old photoshoot, and now these guys have moved and have welcomed a new little guy into their lives – G’s just 3 months in these pictures too. I loved this big window in the bedroom – cool family picture opportunities:
Doncha love the sweet ‘do?
Someone was interested in being the star of the show – she was awesome…
See what I mean?
And before I show you how super incredibly handsome G is, I have to show you these splayed fingers and perfect tootsies:
And now check this dude out.
Noting his cute belly button:
We had to zip outside for some bubble blowing:
With the whole clan:
And sometimes we just have to grab a mommy/daddy picture – our lives get going so fast when we’re parents, I love taking a minute at the end of a shoot to remember that all this started with a great couple of people coming together. Don’t be mad at me for loving this one when you’re getting squeezed, Melissa – it’s just too perfect! Fun to see you guys again, thanks!

These photos’ are stunning! Gorgeous family!!! June 21, 2011 - 11:37 pm
Beautiful Family and stunning photos’! With over a thousand photoshoots under my belt, it’s hard to introduce a new kids activity to me. Not to say that I’m bored of any of it – I’ll play Legos and dressup and take fun pictures of it happily for the next many decades, don’t get me wrong. But this one was a totally new one for me. Raise your hand if you knew you could buy all different kinds of real-looking stuffed fish with little loops of string in their mouths – and that kids can hook them with their real fishing rods and practice reeling them in in the backyard. So super cool. This tiny fisherman fishes with his dad as often as he can (almost every night after work – LOVE it) and when he can’t get to a real watering hole, is content to cast and reel in his funky stuffed fish in the backyard. Just awesome.
His sister is a total swing addict. Been there – I hear you, M. Swinging rocks. Or as my Sadie calls it, “finging”. Not to mention the awesome tongue.
Now many years ago this fisherman daddy and I worked at a small company together – pre-marriages, pre-kids… and I just love getting to see people like this over the years as their kids grow up. Just such a wonderful family:
Running around outside:
Giving hugs:
Just being handsome:
And donning her custom-crocheted outfit from her grandmother…
Loved every minute of it, guys! So nice to see you. Share this on Facebook.
