I hadn’t seen these sweets since they were just tiny newborn babies, and now look how big and wonderful they are!

First little miss:

And his highness:

Getting giggles with mama:

The ladies, lunching:

The gentlemen, playing:

Where are the babies??

There they are!

Pensive little lady…

Do you BELIEVE the eyelashes?

Of course we had to end with tub time…

And S’s favorite part of tub time? The ending shower :)
Wonderful to see you guys again!

And in fairness, one more of madame showing off her tooth. Thanks guys!

I’ve adored documenting these guys as their family’s expanded over the years. Now they’ve got these four sets of eyes that make for such incredible pictures!

Just the twins:

And in no particular order:

Warming up by the fire:

Loved seeing you guys. And don’t hate me for posting this adorable shot of all six of you – even with hand placement as it is… I mean, these things happen. They crack me up when they do – and sometimes I just have to post it to give you guys a giggle. Hehe.

The final shoot of the 12 family mini-shoot day was a pair of twins I hadn’t seen since they were newborn sweeties, and now they’re big one year olds. Perfect one year olds.

The light was streaming through the trees, all was right with the world :)

Except when K was told she was not allowed to eat leaves. She did not like that rule.

But she got over it :)

Whee!

Love how K won’t stand here, and she’s cracking her mama up. T is completely calm, showing his skills :)

Another Wheee!

And the ladies too…
Mama and her two. Wonderful to see you guys!

I have one word for these two ladies. OK, two:
My. Muses.
I haven’t seen them since they were nine months old, and I almost didn’t recognize them when I met up with them on the mini-shoot day. This one is my hands-down favorite.
Every moment of their session made me so happy. I loved meeting their grandparents…
The striped socks.

Their slightly mussed hair.

Their eyelashes.
Their expressions.

How very different (and yet similar) they are…

And the way they grasped hands when they got together for pictures. It just gave me chills.
Loved loved LOVED seeing you guys. So glad we got you a spot!

I’ve been taking pictures of these little guys since the twins were just a couple of weeks old. Now look at them!

Now they’re at that age where it’s so fun to take pictures outside. And when you have wheeled vehicles to take you places, what better?

Jump!

And this one’s so sweet: “the letting go”.

Wonderful to see you guys as always. And thanks for introducing me to your sweet great-nephew!

So I have to start by showing you these two eight year old guys together with their beautiful mama, since Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Aren’t they handsome? Love the white linen shirts and seersucker pants for their Communion pictures – just perfect.

First I’ll introduce handsome Mr. A:

A, leaning up against a tree:

And A with his papa:

We tried to really separate the shoot so these guys would each have their own galleries for their Communion albums, so next I’ll give you a few of Mr. R, looking dapper:

R again, with a nice grin:

And last of R, with his mama:

With their big brother P:

And now all four. It was great to see you guys as always!

I met this perfect pair of three month old boy/girl twins last weekend – I love this as sister A gives a little giggle:

And here you can see their beautiful faces a bit better:

When one’s feeling good, the other… sometimes… isn’t…

Tootsies:

And first to introduce the young Mister S:

And the lovely Miss A:

Had to share my favorite bum view…

It was great to meet you guys!

Twice the babies means twice the gorgeous pictures! I adore taking pictures of twins, and newborn twins are just too perfect.
These guys were 5 lbs each when I met them last weekend, just home after a couple of weeks in the hospital. A beautiful girl and a gorgeous boy.

Sweet girlie toes to start:

Ladies first:

And handsome brother’s next:

Some of the expressions we got were too fun not to post:

A bum shot, of course:

Loving their parents:

And I love that both babies seem to be grinning in this one – hilarious!

Ow! You’re biting my cheek with your… um, well, with your gums…
I loved meeting you guys, thanks for introducing me to your beauties.

Mellow, fun – awesome. I love these guys. I’ve been taking pictures of these sweet twins since they were 3 months old, and now they’re big almost four year old kiddos. They’re such a great family, I love spending time with them every year.

The ATV’s have been upgraded this year, to a Barbie Jeep (complete with sunglasses) and a John Deer tractor. Fabulousness.

Love that daddy and J have exactly the same facial expression here, and mommy matches E…

The kisses just keep on coming.

Loved seeing you guys as always!

Tomorrow would mark three weeks since I last posted on the blog – had to quick get this one up before we hit the 3 week mark, lest you think I’ve been resting on my laurels this summer. I’ve been lucky enough to take some time with my girls in the past few weeks. I’ve been shooting a bit, here and there as childcare allows… but I hoarded my own babies for a few weeks of relaxing at the pool, and when throughout the year my weekends are usually booked with photoshoots, over the past few weeks I even got to take time to do some rare weekend celebrating with grownups (35 birthdays, bridal showers, bachelorette parties)…
But now for those here-and-there families who’ve been so patient waiting for their pictures. Over the next few days I am in final edits for six recent sessions. Here’s the first. Thanks for your patience, guys!
Here’s my #1 most favorite, perfect one.

The girls.

And brotha.

Showing me a missing tooth.

Loving mama’s reading style.

I like all three interested in this one:

The funky turquoise bracelet here brings to mind mom’s own mom’s ring, from photos of hers from childhood. The idea makes me happy.

Hehe.

I’m continuing my new plan of less verbose blog posts – letting the photos tell their own story. This one in the big chair, O’s tongue especially, is my favorite.

Got some great moments with these sweet girls last week with their mom and their dad. Everybody had fun:

With everybody else. This one I just think is so pretty…

And I’ve never taken pictures as a little one looked through a book of facial expressions — so fun. Here’s “sad”:

Never to be outdone, though – here’s “happy”:

And the best – with the arm in the air. Wheeeeee!

This past Saturday two gorgeous girls had their first birthday party, and I got to meet them just before the party for some photos.

Aren’t these expressions perfect?

The first, lovely Emily:

And the second, gorgeous Alison:

They had some good giggles with their parents:

And showed off their crawling skills:

And fantastic lower lip action:

Hilarity ensued :)

This one makes me smile – such a mischievous look!

And this one cracks me up, too – Alison isn’t sure about her traditional Korean costume here…

But soon enough they enjoyed them. And I had to show you the costumes in color – aren’t they incredible? Wonderful to meet you guys, congratulations on the big birthday!

These guys live across the street from us, and are almost exactly my Annie’s age. Got to run over and grab some photos of them with their teenie one week old brother this morning. Don’t you love the urgency in their eyes as they check to see if he has stinky feet:

Before we even introduce their new brother, aren’t they kinda awesome just the two of them?

And here’s their sweet brother, only 9 days old. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! He’s got his brothers’ eyes, I think.

Investigating all of his little parts:

This one is one of my favorites of the three together – can’t you almost hear them?

And I love this sweet little face as he contemplates the bed:

Looking up at mama, wrinkley skin and all:

Gazing out the window:

And one last moment with all three boys – I think maybe they’re related :) It was so much fun to meet your newest boy, guys – thanks for having me over!

And there comes a time at any shoot when someone’s just done. This guy was no exception, but isn’t his crying face perfect?

This photo has me giggling – even at this late hour. C grabs T to plant one on him, square in the center of his mouth. Hilarious. The hugs at this shoot were awesome – the boys had such fun playing together.

During this particular moment, C is seizing the moment and thinking, hmm… this might be my opportunity to take ownership of this baseball…

The ball was a source of fantastic interaction throughout the shoot :)

Playing with Dad was also a favorite activity:

And their ball handling skills were impeccable:

This one might be my top pic for an xmas card shot – kind of non-traditional, but I love how the boys are hiding mom and dad entirely! Too funny.

Dimple :)

Hollering:
 High-five!

Wonderful to see you guys again.
