I’ve been working with this beautiful mama since her oldest big girl was just a little munchkin. I got to spend time with her and her 3rd beautiful baby last week while the bigger siblings were at school. I hadn’t seen him since he was a newborn, and look how he’s grown!

A virtuouso at one!

With his lovey – a bunny/dog that he adores even though it’s having a bit of an identity crisis (yes, from this angle it looks like a bunny… from the back he has a long tail, though):

You can get lost in his big, beautiful eyes, can’t you?

Needed to pop outdoors for some tush pictures, of course:

Perfect sweet little hands:

I loved getting a chance to see you guys. The family resemblance is fantastic!

We did four photoshoots of this handsome boy last year when he was teenie tiny, and now that he’s a big boy of two, I ADORED spending some time with him splashing around the Boston Common’s Frog Pond last weekend. This was my 3rd shoot of the day on the day Hurricane Irene blew through – just moments before the rain started. But it was perfect weather for splashing! But first we had to do some playing ball…

And bubble popping.

But all of this just led up to the thrilling moment when K got to jump in the Frog Pond. Happy boy :)

Fun!

It was such fun splashing around with you!

I haven’t seen this gorgeous girl since she was a tiny twelve week old sweet thing, and just look at her 21 month old perfection now:

Running in the kitchen was by far her favorite activity:

She even got into the tub with her blue-jeaned mama for a few splashes for me.

And though it was March in New England, we zipped outside for a few, ’cause… why not?

Wonderful to see you guys again!

I know big girl J’s mama didn’t love this T shirt – but this moment when she’s pulling it up so we get full view of those fantastic thighs – it’s just perfect. And look at that, she’s ONE! I took pictures of her one year ago almost to the day, when she was just a few weeks old, and then again last fall, but look at what a beauty she’s grown into!

Beloved by her big brothers:

Gets into everything…

But when she flashes that grin — the world is hers for the taking.

Peek-a-boo!

And last but never least, some love from Mama. Loved seeing you guys as always!

Love this one, where J zips away under the weeping willow branches…
And I was reminded recently of how nice blog posts are when there’s no silly commentary. So here goes…

The last time I saw this guy, it was last September and he was 3 weeks old. (That’s one of my favorite shots from last fall’s shoot…)

His monkey imitation:

Wonderful to see you guys again! Happy birthday, big boy.

Look at this big handsome boy! Can’t believe this year went by so fast. I saw him a few times this year – when he was just 10 days old and then again when he was a big boy of 3 months old, and then just now, for his one year pictures. It was his ACTUAL birthday, too – last week. I always feel so honored to spend birthdays with little ones, and this guy was so much fun.
Sorry these pictures took me so long to send to you guys!

His block was stuck under the chair. Um, some help here?

Loved seeing you again, big man :)

K-man’s 4th shoot of the year! We did 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and now 1 year photos this year, and I can’t believe how quickly it went by. We met in the Public Garden to wrap up the year.

Squish!

Well I’m a little biased, because my Annie decided this past weekend after spending some time with this big one year old guy that he’s her baby sister’s future husband. So I was honored to photograph him this weekend when he was showing off some of his new skills. And granted, these weren’t his actual first steps… but come on – the scenery here (most likely) far exceeded the scenery where he had his actual first steps…
Doncha think? Maybe my favorite first steps pic EVER.

Handsome boy –

Beloved talking truck:

Fun at the cool old water pump:

Fun with everybody at the pump:

One more first steps moment…

Great to see you guys :)

As I go back through sweet 8 month old A’s photos from last weekend, it’s hard for me to find many where he’s not grinning ear to ear. I love this of him with his mama:

And then this one with the whole crew – I love their focus on the beloved pup (a nice change from that shot I always get where everyone’s looking at the baby):

Isn’t this one hilarious?

Some tickles with daddy:

Some hugs with mama:

This tush can’t be beat.

Funny faces:

So fun to see you guys!

Oh, and I had to include this one… you know the shoot’s over when…

This one might be one of my favorite swan boat pictures ever – I love how L is picking up her little leg here, taking a huge step:

Giving the (bronze, make way for) ducklings some snacks:

What a pretty lady!

Thoughtful girl by the water:

I love the elbow dimples here:

Stopped her as she was on her way somewhere – she looks so busy here:

Great to meet you guys!

When I arrived for my shoot with M and his little sister S last week, poor little M was exhausted. Turned out the time we’d planned on for our shoot was a time he’d just started napping a couple of days before, so the poor guy was a wreck for the beginning of the shoot. But there was no way to hide the cuteness of these two… even a tired big brother doesn’t do it :)
5 month old deliciousnness:

The sweetest expressions:

And look who warmed right up :)

I love this one, so pensive:

Pretty girl in her summer dress:

Peek-a-boo!

Flying!

The eyelashes here are my favorite:

And of course, investigating the water table together…

I’ve bumped these guys to the top of my queue because Dad is about to go out of town and he needs to bring some pictures of his little guy and his pretty lady with him when he leaves. So they were actually my 2nd shoot of the day last Sunday when I had a day of 13 twenty minute mini-shoots, there was still a cool breeze in the air.
Big boy M had fun on the ducks first…
BTW, side note – I was wondering this as I watched the ducks statues over the course of the day… do you think they’re the most photographed landmark in Boston? I think they very well might be. There are very few minutes of daylight when they’re not being photographed with someone sitting on top of them… (from adult men in their suits to cutie toddlers like little M). Can anyone think of a local landmark that gets more shutter clicks each day?
Sorry, back to business…

These cute teeth kill me:

Flying…

Handsome and beauty, together:

Staring out over the water… Isn’t the tush perfect?

A minute at the end, a sweet mama cuddle.

Poke!

I hadn’t seen this little beauty since she was just a teenie, tiny, newborn. It’s been a year, and she is such an adorable little one year old now! Let’s start with this one, so you can see the rolls:

I love the edge of a smile you can see here on baby A as she goes nose to nose with her mama:

And here’s a real closeup on the eyelashes – because I was afraid you wouldn’t believe me if I told you about them without showing them to you…

Awesome hair, eh?

She looks a little like she’s in jail here… but these wrist rolls and fat little fingers kill me:

And then I had to show you the pout. Don’t you just love it? The pretty eyes and the pout here…

I love her attitude and rolls here:

Mouthful of yogurt :)

A combo of the pout and the mouthful -

And last of all, a toss in the air from dad – with hair blowing in the breeze!

I got to spend L’s first birthday with her last week – and she was perfect! Tucker thinks she’s delicious, too. (These guys were the winning bidders for this session at the Ashmont Nursery School auction in March – so glad we got to do our session on L’s big day!)

Isn’t she incredibly gorgeous? Eyes to die for, just like her big brother.

Sharing secrets.

Swinging together:

See what I mean about her brother’s eyes? Not to mention the dimples…

This grandma moment makes me happy.

So does this one.

And I think her birthday cake made L happy, too :) DeLISH.

Thanks for the fun morning, guys. Great to see you!
