Come October, these big beautiful siblings will have a new baby in the family, and they’re already getting excited. I’ve been taking pictures of these guys since little brother A was tiny (and they’re only 15 months apart in age, so big sister A was pretty tiny then too).
And now I’ll let the pictures do the talking :)

I love this one! Thanks for a great shoot as always :)

This seating arrangement was the brothers’ idea – isn’t it great? Little sister T loved it too :) Biggest brother A is eleven, middle brother N is eight (turning nine very soon) and new sister T was just six weeks old when we took these pictures a couple of weeks ago.

She gets loads of love from the boys.

Much cuddling and playing…

She won’t want for attention in her family, I bet!

Smiling with her pretty mama:

And Daddy making it all better:

It was wonderful meeting you all, thank you for having me!

It’s been a few years since I saw these guys – and since I saw them they’ve added a lovely lady to their brood.

She’s such a fun addition.

Don’t get me wrong, the boys still have a blast just the two of them…

But it’s fun to see how much they crack her up, too.

Sometimes everyone doesn’t quite jump at the same time. But that’s OK, because this is pretty fantastic, too…

So fun to see you guys!

Been a few years since I’ve seen these guys, and while their little sister M went from two to five in those years and has stayed adorable and super fun – big brothers A and C have spent those years growing into handsome, cool young men. They were even willing to hang out with their parents in the backyard and tickle their little sister.
First, Miss M:

C:

And A:

And just a couple mama/daddy littlest girl pictures…

Squeeeeeze.

You guys were fantastic, thanks for having me out!

Um, so maybe Ellie and I were in the same freshman dorm SEVENTEEN years ago. I just had to count that on my fingers and now that number makes me feel old. Her husband Kevin was at our college too, so this was sooo fun to see them now, all kidded up. I feel like Ellie and I were 18 year olds just a few minutes ago, hanging out in Hamilton living room watching 90210 and drinking Zima (wow, that means this was half our LIFE ago… ok, this is crazy, I must stop).
This one is one of the first pictures we took when we met up at the Public Garden for our 20 minute mini-shoot last weekend, and look how much fun the kids were instantly having with their awesome parents:

Zoom!

Like the tongue in this one:

A photographer’s group I have fun with is running an assignment this month called “Here Comes the Sun”. I’m going to submit this next one, it’s just too perfect for it. Here are all the entries, it’s very fun to browse, these photographers are awesome…

This was super fun to see you guys after all that time – thanks for coming out!

This handsome devil is another guy from my early years – he was three months old back in 2005 when we started taking pictures, and now he’s six, and as A.A. Milne says about six – he’s clever as clever. This one was cool because I hadn’t seen him since he was three – and wow, three to six is a big change. Look how huge now!

I love this next nose-to-nose one, and I swear it’s not just because I covet Pam’s cowboy boots, big time. I like the picture too ;)

This one was all dad’s idea, I can’t take credit. But cool, no?

Eskimo kiss:

Peek!

I loved seeing you guys so much, thanks for coming out!

Now, this is the kind of post that might embarrass the boys when they’re older, but I have to tell you – I adore shooting these brothers. I’ve been taking pictures of them for years, and one thing is always evident to me, (being on the outside looking in) and that’s that they’re just really sweet boys at heart. We always get these incredibly loving pictures of the two of them, and it’s not me, it’s them. It’s wonderful.

They’re awesome, playful, fun – and obviously just really enjoy each other:

And they crack each other up, which is key:

Wonderful to see you guys as always!

OK – coolest aunt plan ever. Pick up niece on Friday at home in Connecticut. Bring her up to Boston for an auntie/niece weekend extravaganza – including an overnight at a snazzy hotel, and a morning photoshoot in the Public Garden. Friday even included mani/pedis, I hear.
All right other aunts out there, time to step it up, Jen’s currently leading all of the rest of us in the race-to-be-coolest. It was her beautiful niece J that she brought to the shoot, and they just had such fun together.

Had to memorialize the pedicure –

Isn’t she lovely?

She had the most energy, too – she ran like the dickens all around the Public Garden, getting herself into cool spots for pictures and then zipping away. (By the way, that expression “running like the dickens” is making me smile and think of my grandmother. But I digress.)

Had to show you one where you could really see her incredible eyes:

Whee!

When these guys showed up for their mini-shoot in the Public Garden last weekend wearing rocker leather jackets, I got so excited. And with the fun lamp posts all around the garden, we had a real West Side Story in the making…

I know I always say it when I blog about this family, but this guy was actually one of my very first shoots back in 2003. He was six months old and they lived in an apartment in Boston (Paula, don’t be mad, I totally forget where in Boston!). He was adorable and perfect back then, and now he seems really big at 8 years old and I can’t believe this is our 9th shoot. Thanks for including me in the ride, guys.

And not to forget his fabulous, energetic, crazy sister!

A few times a year someone will call and ask me about getting their child into modeling or beauty pageants. I have to admit it’s sooo much fun when I get these calls because I know we’re going to get to play dressup!
It’s been a few years since these guys last had me do some headshots for them, and now we got little sister A into it too. Really ridiculously fun!
Let’s start with big sister (and now eight year old) S:

And after the cookie baking, it’s hard not to have a taste…

And introducing… little miss (now 5 years old) A:

She also had some fun in the kitchen:

See what I mean about having fun?

Thanks for having me back!

These guys are SO five and seven. :)

Handsome as the dickens…

And super fun to boot.

Sometimes on the way to get a cute picture like this…

…you get some (more?) fabulous ones along the way.

So happy to get a chance to take pictures for you guys again this year. Thanks!

So I think this year marks the most changes in J since our visit last year. Every year he picks up so many new things, and this year was no different. Still a huge fan of the swings…

And his Wiggles…

But now also very into water, and standing at the sink and playing with it, so cool. (Yes, you heard/saw right – that’s “STANDING” at the kitchen sink…)

Going down the slide all by himself this year…

As I said, adoring those swings…

Really good at giving high fives to dad and mom:

And I left the best for last. Walking.
Yup, with or without holding hands. This guy’s going places!

OK, this is my favorite picture I’ve taken in a while. LOVE it.

And this one matches one we took of these two girls about four or five years ago, with little sister E in focus in the front and big sister A in the background… I’m all for symmetry.

And even though we can’t see everybody’s faces clearly in this next shot, I just love the mom-ness of this moment. Girls giggling with their mama.

Killer dance moves.

Loved seeing you guys – thanks for a great shoot as always. These climbing trees were GORGEOUS for pictures, you were right!

Look at the huge grins on these two!

They played Heart and Soul like nobody’s business :)

Dancing with mama:

And now I’m afraid I’m going to show you too many of the running around crazy pictures, but I am just in love with them…

This next one’s actually one of my very favorites – hard to see their expressions here on the blog, but they’re perfect. I love the sun spots across the whole picture.

These guys make having three kids look easy. They’re an absolute pleasure to spend time with, and I loved seeing them again.

Had to get one of the lovebirds, too ;)
