These guys are card carrying members of the “two under two” club, with a bonus 3 1/2 year old thrown in! Busy, busy, busy. And so much fun energy!
20 months old and 6 weeks old. So much love.

There’s something about the lines in this photo that I love. The artwork on the wall and the bedspread kind of tie it all up in a nice bow for me, too.

Kinda love the mayhem in this one.

Love that dad made this face at/with J:

And so did Mom :)

Dimple :)

Really fun to see you guys as always!

Where to begin?
Well, we have the kind of junior, mellow tickle attack…

And then we have the more advanced, grown-up tickle attack:

Did I forget to mention the rolls and the perfect baby cheeks?

OK, back to the list. The nose smash –

Quick break for another couple of good old fashioned smilers:

And the leaf toss. Not to mention we had our South End backdrop, with the gorgeous buildings behind. Too perf. (The facial expression here also makes me very happy.)

Wonderful to see you guys again, it was really fun!

You guys, this is one of those ones that would look so neat printed big up on the wall in your bedroom! I love this sweet sweet moment.

They already have such a great time together :)

S loves to help A when he’s taking off his jammies (and apparently he loves it too):

Loved seeing you guys again!

Love this :)

As I was editing these I started to notice a handful of moments when the boys were doing exactly the same thing at the same time. So cool…

And…

Just so handsome:

The littlest lawn mower:

The biggest best catcher:

What a treat to see you guys again, thanks!

I’m so lucky that these guys came back from Arizona for a visit! They had their first son seven years ago and were living in the Boston area. We took sweet pictures of him when he was just three weeks old. Then they moved, but when their second son was just three weeks old, they visited Boston (correct me if I have any specifics wrong, guys – I have a terrible memory) and we got to do pictures at their grandma and grandpa’s house. Then again for their daughter we did three week old pictures a couple of years later. Now I got to meet their fourth beautiful baby, take pictures in a sink bath of this little perfect girl – not to mention grabbing a few of all four hanging out together. Because isn’t this the picture you want printed really huge on a wall somewhere? I LOVE.

Actually, it’s a toss up. I might want this one really big if these were mine…

OK, ok, I’ll stop with the body parts. Too much fun. This one tells a great story, too…

And Ms. J even took her hat off for a few brief moments…

But sorry, OK, back to the matter at hand. Newborn pictures (at 3 months old as opposed to her siblings’ 3 week old newborn pictures — but c’mon, cut us some slack, here, we’re talking cross-country travel with FOUR kids… the fact that she’s not three years old is beyond impressive to me) so newborn pictures of littlest lady B. Each of them always got a sink bath in their newborn pictures, so Ms. B is no different. Loving the layout and lighting and expression and clenched fists of this one…

And this one tells a cool story, too.

She loved mama time after her bath.

And daddy giggles too.

And like a dreamy little fourth baby, she fell promptly to sleep after her bath. What a love!

One tiny asleep foot to top things off.

Wonderful to see you guys again. Are you sure you’re not having more? You make such great ones…

I met these guys at the house before heading over to their neighborhood beach, and I am just in love with this first picture we got — how perfect??

But then we zipped over to the beach and got some great fun pictures by the water and the trees…

The big guys decided they were going to help little sister S get going on her walking.

They coached and coached as she pushed up, up, up…

And wahoo – she got to a standing position! Walking… well, not in the grass today. But standing like a champ! And making her big sister and brother very proud :)

And don’t forget herself – making herself very proud too.

It was wonderful running around with you guys as always.

Thanks for the fun morning!

This is one of my FAVORITE pictures I’ve ever taken. Love. Love. Love.

Met these cuties last weekend, when what was supposed to be a rainy day cleared up for us and allowed us to play both inside and outside.
Inside we got to do fun things like play on the bed…

Play the piano…

Chat with bear friends…

And color some princess books.

Big grins inside:

And big grins outside:

And of course we had to play on the swings a bit outside.

Wonderful to meet you guys, thanks for having me come out!

This is one of those super awesome fun families I’ve been photographing since their big girls were just teenie, diapered cuties. Now everybody’s getting so big, even Mr. B is two now — wow.

And as a bonus this time we got a cousin visit, this little cutie joined us for playtime:

Some individual shots of everybody:

And I love the energy in this one – so much going on (mama sisters in back)…

The boys having a pow-wow over bubbles:

Big girl bubble, beautiful gaze:

And a proud big girl with a bubble of her own:

Oh, wait, one last cute face from this sweetheart – known as “fish-face”, I think?

Best expressions… pursed lips, 3 out of 4 :)
Great to see you guys!

It feels like it’s been a while since I took pictures of sisters (I’ve been in brothers mode for a few weeks), and I have to say I adored these guys last weekend. Even though it was a rainy New England spring day, we had loads of fun playing inside. Little sister O was born when big sister H was just a week shy of being 2 years old, so even though they’re not “two under two” anymore, they can still have membership in my elite club :)
This one cracks me up to no end.

This next shot just hollers mama with her two sweethearts to me – as O goes up in the air and H rolls around on the couch. The energy in the whole picture is just so cool.

Don’t you love O’s hand on H’s cheek?

More energy…

Loved getting to know you guys!

Two years ago I met big sister M at her 3 month old photoshoot, and now these guys have moved and have welcomed a new little guy into their lives – G’s just 3 months in these pictures too. I loved this big window in the bedroom – cool family picture opportunities:

Doncha love the sweet ‘do?

Someone was interested in being the star of the show – she was awesome…

See what I mean?

And before I show you how super incredibly handsome G is, I have to show you these splayed fingers and perfect tootsies:

And now check this dude out.

Noting his cute belly button:

We had to zip outside for some bubble blowing:

With the whole clan:

And sometimes we just have to grab a mommy/daddy picture – our lives get going so fast when we’re parents, I love taking a minute at the end of a shoot to remember that all this started with a great couple of people coming together. Don’t be mad at me for loving this one when you’re getting squeezed, Melissa – it’s just too perfect!
Fun to see you guys again, thanks!

I haven’t seen these guys since little brother C was born, but now he’s big brother C – to a beautiful little bow-wearing sister :)

Introductions all around – biggest boy R:

Newly minted, formerly little, now “big” brother C:

And pretty girl K:

I think she looks like her mama:

And she had to show off her tongue, of course:

The girls…

And the boys :)

Fun all around:

Until someone decided she wasn’t having as much fun anymore. But you did such a good job! I loved getting to meet tiny K, and thanks for having me back to meet her, guys!

I love these Public Garden shoot days because so many of the families I meet there end up being families who’ve become friends over years and years of photoshoots. Now that they have bunches of older children it’s easy to meet up there and run around and have fun and get great pictures (as opposed to back in the day (2004) when oldest and 2nd oldest brothers K (2 yrs old at the time) and N (3 months!) were in diapers having fun at their house.
There’s something I adore about this one:

Make Way for Ducklings rodeo:

Love how littlest E looks on to see what her brothers are doing:

And they’re off!

Just the boys:

Just little miss:

Peace out, man.

Three summers ago I met tiny little M on Nantucket, when my old friend Gabriel Frasca and his incredible wife Amanda Lydon invited me over the deck of Straight Wharf (their restaurant on the island). M was only 7 weeks old then:

Now she’s a big girl of 3 and a half, and she has a handsome little 1 1/2 year old brother. Nothing really beats being able to come back to families years later and see how kids grow. I know I say it over and over again, so forgive me, but it really is amazing.

This photoshoot was a present for their grandmother, so we got some fun playing-with-Nonna pictures, of course:

And getting the braids:

Wonderful to see you guys again! Hope to get to Nantucket this summer!

I got to go see these two beauties a couple of weeks ago, but it was a big secret and I wasn’t allowed to post anything on here until now, because it was a present for their dad.

When big sister B was about little sister P’s age, we took a very similar shot of her nibbling on her dress. :) The toes in the bottom corner are the best part of this one.

Ahh, the wrist rolls.

Smooching the toes.

Look at those eyelashes!

Mama and her girls.

Beautiful B.

Baby, you’re a FIREWORK!

So wonderful to see you guys!

Irving Berlin said it, my mom and her three sisters joke about it… and these four reminded me of that quote so much. They were quick to giggle and enjoy each other – such a pleasure to be around.

The progression from this shot…

To this one cracks me up so much :)

I should take you down the line. #1:
