We found him! The winner of every imaginable eyelash-length contest out there. And to think he lived here in Boston, all this time :) I loved getting to know little six month old R yesterday. Even though he’d kept his parents up all night the night before – he did wonderfully in his pictures! But don’t take my word for it…

His favorite place is his changing table – you can even catch sight of the eyelashes in this one ;)

Isn’t he handsome?

Hollering with Dad:

I love how his eyes twinkle in this one as he looks off at his mama.

And then there comes a time when… we’re done. But you did such a great job, R!

I loved coming back to see this sweet boy after we did his 3 month pictures back in March. Now he’s a big 8 month old boy with a fantastic profile…

Incredible eyes:

Excellent standing skills (and the gummy smile):

The best pointed toes (yes, this is all ab muscle holding these feet in this position!):

See what I mean about the pointed toes?

And I just love this toothless little expression… somehow when babies without teeth close their little mouths they have the best little tight lipped expression…

Love the tootsies.

And hammock pictures are always a challenge – somehow they weren’t with D – he was perfect. Love the double chin here.

And of course, a big sloppy kiss.

Remember rat-tail hairdos from the 80′s? This sweet girl sports the most adorable one I’ve ever seen. Well, I’m biased, because she’s my college roommate’s daughter, and I just adore every bit of her – but the rat-tail is the cutest little thing ever. I’ll save the rat-tail photo for the end and start with this sweet eyebrow raise:

Reminds me of Austin Powers here ;)

With her pretty mama, even though I promised I wouldn’t include her in these…

Quizzical :)

Dimple! Not to mention arm rolls. Delish.

Perfect tootsies. Had to edit out a bit of sock lint, but I don’t judge ;)

AND… drumroll please… the famous rat-tail.

Lovely, perfect, beautiful 4 month old sweetheart. So fun to see you, my sweet. Big smooch.
P.S. Is there a hyphen in rat-tail? Rattail looks wrong…?

I am officially obsessed with this shot of 3 month old S – her perfect pout is killing me!

And I’m also loving the giggles with her mama:

With her handsome big brother T:

A grab for mama’s finger:

In her pretty headband, with a sweet smile:

Aren’t the expressions incredible?

Big brother T saying his goodbyes as I was heading out:

And one last one of the pink princess, a lovely girl, lovely smile.

This picture cracks me up. Doesn’t big brother P look like Ozzy Osborne or something here? Except he’s a peaceful rocker :)

What a sweet pair:

Running around a bit outside with Dad:

And I know his dad is going to love this picture – as he leans pensively on his walking stick :) (Posed by Dad himself!)

Outside smooches:

Isn’t little Ms. M just gorgeous?

Waving at us:

And a thoughtful baby girl:

One last hug picture. I loved meeting your new sweet girlie!

I was so excited to see how big this guy had gotten since his 3 month pictures, and he was gorgeous! Chubby little arms and legs… look at how strong he is, holding himself up :) He’ll be crawling momentarily.

I love this with his sweet mum and dad:

This one kills me. Too perfect.

And a handsome smile:

Cracks me up:

In a hand-knit sweater with the cutest hood ever:

Doesn’t he look like he’s posing here?

Perfect tootsies!

Holding on to his Da’s hands:

This one says so much, even though no one is facing the camera. I love it. Great to see you guys. Can’t wait to see your big boy at 9 months!

I got to go back and see this handsome guy last week for his 3 month pictures – and he’s already getting so big! I love this one smiling with his mama and the two pups in the background:

Check out that head control!

His lashes are super super long and light – I loved catching them:

And some tootsies with a pup background:

This one is actually out of order – it was the very first frame I shot of this guy. Do you believe what a great mood he was in the moment I walked in the door?

Sitting up like a big boy:

And of course, had to include his big handsome grin:

Now this is the sa-weet hat I referred to in the title of this post… isn’t it awesome? Not to mention his scrunched up smile :)

He’s already so good at standing. I loved seeing this big guy again. Have a great Thanksgiving this week!

I went to college with these three cuties’ mom and dad. Their dad gave their mom a gift certificate for this shoot last Christmas, and after a few reschedules, we finally did it! It was so much fun to get a chance to meet them at their uncle’s place in the North End. The oldest (A) and youngest (baby C) had a blast watching their brother bounce on the bed (look at those thighs on baby C!):

Not to mention the lashes on lovely A:

C has incredible eyes. How do his parents ever say no to this face?

And C loved looking at his mama. The big toe in this shot is my favorite.

Then we went outside and had some fun in the leaves at the park:

Running around:

Playing on the playground:

Peek-a-boo!

So great to meet your little guys! It was a great fun shoot, thanks for coming to Boston for it.

I can’t believe it took me this long to meet beautiful little girl E. I was so excited to meet her – her momma was my Student Advisor at Conn College when I was a freshman… I love being able to give back to people years later!
So although color is never my fave, I had to snap a few in color of baby E in her costume. Adorable pumpkin!

Those teenie toes:

Those teenie fingers:

Giggling with her daddy:

Gorgeous girl! Look at those eyes :)

The whole fam:

Smiles for mama:

Isn’t she such a tall girl? I’m partial to tall girls ;)

And JJ, I left this in color just for you. Those eyes are still blue like mama’s!

Love this yawning swaddle:

It was such a treat to meet your sweet girl and see the new house – thanks for having us!
This big handsome boy was incredible with his rolls and his eyelashes! He’s only 3 1/2 months old – the same age as my Sadie. So fun to start taking pictures of babies who are the same age as my second girlie…

I love this as he gets comfy on his chair:

And those finger sucking moments…

Taking a peek out the window:

Tickles from mom:

And perfect toes:

Doesn’t he look like he’s so interested in his mama? So loving.

And I challenge you not to yawn while you’re looking at this next picture. Ha! :)

This sweet seven month old cutie pie was loving having his picture taken. The hands up while giggling at this age is my favorite shot to get…

And he had to show of his fabulous matching hat (isn’t dressing them so much fun when they’re little and they still wear what we want them to?)

And he had to show off his almost crawling skills. We think he’ll be moving in less than 2 weeks. Look out, mom and dad!

This one just makes me giggle when I look at it. Such a fantastic face!

Great to meet you guys! See you in August for the 9 month pictures!

This kind of picture just makes me happy. I love the splayed fingers, the toes, the eyelashes – and the perfect girl behind it all! Even the belly button the bottom corner of the shot is great.

Knuckle dimples AND wrist rolls. Yum!

It was so fun to get to go back and see this big girl now. We took pictures back in December when she was only five weeks old, and her mom was telling me that she lost all that long dark hair after the shoot. It’s so amazing how they change! Look at her new head of hair here:

So good at hanging out on her tummy:

And more toes pictures, now that they’re getting bigger than they were when she was tiny…

Doesn’t she look like she’s got something big to tell us?

And a kiss from her sweet puppy dog :) Wonderful to see you guys!

This cutie pie didn’t stop smiling from the moment I walked in the door until I left – here he is in his cool collared shirt giggling at dad:

And I like this with mom and their pup in the background:

Those wonderful sucking-on-toes moments are some of my favorites:

I love this one in his room with his wall lettering:

Big smiling boy:

It was great to meet you guys – thank you for having me!

Sweet H’s first photoshoot was in the hospital when he was just twelve hours old. And now he’s a big boy of seven months old, with a perfect grin:

Lifted high in the air by his mom:

I love this grin:

With his happy daddy:

Tush in the air, pensive expression… too perfect…

Really fun to watch these guys play with their boy:

And here’s a sweet angel expression:

Learning the piano from his uber-musical dad: Great to spend time with you guys!

This cutie pie was sleeping happily in daddy’s arms when I arrived, so we let him finish off his beauty rest, and when he woke up, he was ready to play. Here he is getting tickled by his momma:

Do you believe this grin?

I love the light of the blinds coming in on him in this shot – and his leg was so strategically placed for us!

Cute toes in daddy’s hands:

It was a treat to get to meet your sweet boy, thanks for having me in!
