Now it’s possible Harry the fabulous black lab was overly affectionate during my visit last Friday, but it’s also possible he showers his new sister E with this many kisses all day every day. He is enamored, and I think it’s possible he’s spent the last month with E giving her as much love as he possibly can. Happy 4 week birthday today, E, sorry these pictures took me all week to get to you!

I mean, come on now – aren’t the licks just perfect? E really didn’t seem to mind too much, except maybe in this next one, as her eyes tell Daddy she’s maybe not having as much fun with the licks as she was before :) I do love dog/baby kissing pictures. Whenever I get a good one, I tag the post, so if you like them too, there are more here (keep scrolling down the page after you click to see the other ones).

So back to the beginning. When I first arrived, baby E was snoozing on mama, but we had to grab a quick shot of her on this gorgeous antique chaise (is this a chaise?) with dragonflies on it. She’s so tiny snoozing here.

But I should let you get a good look at her. Isn’t she just perfect?

Getting some sustenance.

Relaxing on dad in her favorite hat from the delivery room.

Hanging out with mama:

Tiny toes!

With her uber-helpful awesome grandmother.

Three generations of ladies:

It was such a pleasure to meet you guys! Thanks for having me out to meet your sweet girlie.

It’s been a year since I saw these sweet girls, and I love what buddies they’ve become.

I’m just a sucker for sisters.

Lemme introduce the ladies – first, in calm moments. Big girl G, with her model-perfect hair.

And littler sister B, with eyelashes to beat the band:

Just gorgeous.

I feel like B is looking at me mischievously here, daring me to try to get a good picture of her family once she steps into the sunshine while her parents are in shadow. She knows so much about lighting, that little one ;)

Big smiles!

Mama moments…

Wonderful fun, guys, thanks so much!

This one cracks me up. Just awesome.

And the tongue here? Too fantastic.

These three little personalities were just so much fun to spend time with – fantastic dynamic.

Even when something totally terrible happens (like when your brothers jump off a picnic table together and don’t wait for you to do it with them).

Check out the gorgeous eyes these three ALL got. First biggest brother C:

Middle brother B:

And lovely littlest A (who reminds me so much of her aunt Paige I almost can’t believe it):

Now these two shots look so cool together I had to combine them on the blog. I love the transition between the two moments.

Mama and her dudes:

All three, and a huge tree.

Loved, loved, loved getting this chance to see you guys. What a fun crew.

I started taking pictures of these two back in 2005, when L was three years old and W was one. And now here we are, on shoot #8 – with a gorgeous 9 year old girl and a handsome 7 year old boy. Time FLIES.
Dreamy, perfect Posey-McPoserton shot. Well done, everybody, including Gandalf ;)

The lovely Miss, with her festive pumpkin:

Toothless wonder – doesn’t this one look like an ad for a dentist? I’d totally go to this dentist if he promised I’d get to have toothless boys as awesome as W.

Gandalf love.

Got to include some fun grandparents this time :)

Da boyz.

Da ladeez.

Plumb tuckered out. Modeling is exhausting!
Loved seeing you guys, as always.

Met up with these four gorgeous cuties last weekend and they were awesome. First of all, I’m in love with this, especially A peeking around to see baby B’s face:

Three big guys jumping around:

Lots of fun to be had with dad:

And mama:

We’ll go in opposite age order, just to shake things up… sweet baby B:

Fun boy A:

A quiet hug for the big two:

And one giggle:

Sweet guy S:

And biggest beautiful sister C:

Just fantastic. Loved seeing you all!

I love shoots like this one! We got to go walking around the North End and grabbed so many classic Boston shots in the process. Without looking at the tags at the bottom of the post, how many Boston landmarks can you spot?

Oh wait, but first, let me introduce you to our little birthday boy star of the show. Mr. C – with his raised eyebrow here, enjoying a puff snack before we headed out:

Look at those big steps :)

Wheee!

Mama tickles:

Look who’s walking:

Peek!

And after our walk, we came home to a Grandpa…

and Grandma visit!

Look who’s UNO! Happy birthday, sweet boy :) So honored to document the actual day.

I’ve been working with this beautiful mama since her oldest big girl was just a little munchkin. I got to spend time with her and her 3rd beautiful baby last week while the bigger siblings were at school. I hadn’t seen him since he was a newborn, and look how he’s grown!

A virtuouso at one!

With his lovey – a bunny/dog that he adores even though it’s having a bit of an identity crisis (yes, from this angle it looks like a bunny… from the back he has a long tail, though):

You can get lost in his big, beautiful eyes, can’t you?

Needed to pop outdoors for some tush pictures, of course:

Perfect sweet little hands:

I loved getting a chance to see you guys. The family resemblance is fantastic!

I am loving this family shot – it’s hilarious and loud and loving all at once.

Met these two beauties last week during their visit to see their grandparents from overseas. They had such fun playing by the pool:

Decorating the Budda:

And walking the pretty road near Nana’s:

We got some fun pics:

Some delicious ringlets/nana playtime:

And of course a bum by the pool.

We had a breakdown or two, of course, as is to be expected (and pretty fabulous to document anyway):

And a few quiet moments:

It was such a pleasure to meet you all – thanks for having me come visit!

Welcome to little 9 day old M! Saw him a few weeks ago in mama’s belly (just like we did with big brother T a couple of years ago), but he’s way more adorable out here in the world… (and apparently he likes having his toes tickled)

Isn’t he a love?

Just a gentle nose poke…

Brother toes :)

Mama’s never in pictures because she’s always holding the camera. We tried to remedy that!

This is one of my favorites:

And of course a visiting grandparents pic…

Congrats to you guys on your perfect new addition. Good luck down south, we’ll all miss you here in Boston! Visit lots :)

This one is hands-down my favorite from the whole shoot. I love 16 month old C peeking through this tree at her dad. You can even tell Dad is smiling from the bit of his cheek we see…

We had such fun at the beach near their house north of Boston:

And we still got to go enjoy some time at a little park up the hill…

You can’t NOT smile looking at this grin. Dare you to try.

UP!

Really fun to see you guys again!

I say this every year, I know, but these guys make me so happy every time I have a shoot with them. They just ooze love out of every pore – their (now 5! year old – can’t believe it, kindergartener) sweet boy is just an absolute inspiration. As Kim (his mama) put it so eloquently on the contest page of my blog last year, as she described a photo from the 2010 shoot where Jack walked holding hands with his parents:
Our family has been through so much in Jack’s four years. I love this picture so much because it inspires me to believe that anything is possible, and makes me proud to be the parent of such a special child. There were times that we were told Jack may not make it through the night or to his next birthday, but we never gave up hope. This picture to me symbolizes how far we’ve come and that we have to remember that life is a journey that you take one step at a time.
Well they’ve taken lots of steps together this year, and Jack and his parents have tons to be proud of. Not the least of which is their huge, amazing love.

Daddy tickles:

Up in the air:

High-fiving mama:

Giving Rocky some kisses:

Loving Mickey Mouse Clubhouse:

And this is my favorite series of two pictures – Jack was obviously really worried about going down the slide, but his mama helped him… she knew he could do it, so she gave him support and helped him get started.

And at the bottom of the slide… a little proud smile peeked out. So perfect.

But this guy loves NOTHING more than the swings.

Maybe partially because his parents are really fun.

But I know it’s so freeing to fly so high up there.

You guys inspire me every time I see you. So happy for you.

I’ve been taking pictures of these little guys since the twins were just a couple of weeks old. Now look at them!

Now they’re at that age where it’s so fun to take pictures outside. And when you have wheeled vehicles to take you places, what better?

Jump!

And this one’s so sweet: “the letting go”.

Wonderful to see you guys as always. And thanks for introducing me to your sweet great-nephew!

I got to meet this guy as a bonus a few weeks ago, when I was shooting the three cuties just above this post… their mama (the auntie) gave this guy’s mama (the niece) a mini-shoot, and boy, was I lucky! I mean, come on now…

I am in love with the tattoo on mama’s wrist here, so perfect. If it’s hard to see here, it says “paix”.

Even the shy moments were perfect:

Wonderful to meet you guys!

The last time I saw these guys, littlest sister T was just two weeks old! Now look at them. Three gorgeous girls – and such a treat to spend time with, they’re really fun. This was my last shoot of the day a couple of weekends ago as Hurricane Irene beat its way up the coast. The rain was pouring outside, but there were lots of sunshiny smiles inside.

Jump!

Perfection.

I love how tightly these guys are holding on here. You guys made me really happy – thanks for a fun photoshoot!

We did four photoshoots of this handsome boy last year when he was teenie tiny, and now that he’s a big boy of two, I ADORED spending some time with him splashing around the Boston Common’s Frog Pond last weekend. This was my 3rd shoot of the day on the day Hurricane Irene blew through – just moments before the rain started. But it was perfect weather for splashing! But first we had to do some playing ball…

And bubble popping.

But all of this just led up to the thrilling moment when K got to jump in the Frog Pond. Happy boy :)

Fun!

It was such fun splashing around with you!
