Welcome Maren

I had a chance to pop in for 5 or 10 minutes and meet little tiny 3 lb, 13 oz Maren in the NICU yesterday. She was just having her 24 hour birthday when I walked in the door, and I felt so lucky to spend just a few minutes with her. I don’t usually put slideshows of pictures up on my blog, but I thought this was the best way to share them.

After the slideshow gets going there will be music in the background, just so you know (it starts off very quiet).

Can’t wait to spend time with you and your big brother when you get home, Maren. Thanks for sharing your little beauty with me, Katie and Evan!

5 months old and loving carrots

Even though we didn’t do the pureed carrots until late in the photoshoot, I have to post them first because I LOVE these pictures.  Big boy C adores his carrots, grabbing the spoon away from his mama with gusto each time :)

Mmm… and the eyelashes? Awesome.

And mama tells me this is a signature face from Mr. C, with tongue.
