These crazies were my 6th mini-shoot in the Boston Public Garden on the 23rd, and they had a blast:

Look at handsome big brother J – getting so grown up! Do you believe the eyelashes?

And now little brother A has become big brother A with the addition of his new baby sister. He’s growing up too!

They’re both so loving with J:

Flying sister!

Giggles with Dad:

Loved seeing ALL you guys!

I love how big and gorgeous G has gotten since the last time I saw her! Her curls are killer, too.

She had incredible focus on her bubbles – loved chasing them around the garden…

Love as she bites her tongue as she focuses here:

Mama brought out a book to read, and G was so excited when she caught sight of it.

Pensive pretty lady:

See what I mean about the curls? Wonderful to see you guys!

These guys live right behind me, so I was so excited when they booked a session on my Public Garden mini-shoot day. I’ve wanted to take their picture forever – they always have such a good time together.
Now this picture is one of the best moments – I adore it. The parents pose cutely in the front, while the sisters in back think we’re not paying attention to them… and littlest brother W crouches over the edge of the water, investigating wildlife.

I like the hugeness of the weeping willow here –

And a pile of smiles:

Sweetness.

And a classic one -

I love this one – I always say this, but this one deserves to be printed huge and hung in the front hall or somewhere… you can’t see faces here on the blog, but trust me when I tell you everyone’s having a great time here:

Aaaand break! You guys were super fun, it was awesome to get a chance to take your pictures.

These guys were my 3rd Public Garden mini-shoot last Sunday, and I didn’t even know mom was pregnant before we met up there… so exciting! She looked incredible, and big boy B was adorable and ready to have a great time running his little 16 month old legs around the Garden.
The weeping willows tickle the nose when you nuzzle up to them, you know. The things you only figure out when you’re a toddler…

Tickle those toes!

Handsome guy:

Splash splash –

Congratulations again on your impending arrival, guys!

I started taking pictures of these two lovelies five years ago when they were just babies. And now look at them – two gorgeous ladies! These guys were my first shoot in the Boston Public Garden last Sunday for my Ashmont Nursery School fundraiser family mini-shoot day, and I loved starting with them.
Crinkley nose pic first. The matching sandals (complete with bruised shins) kill me. :)

Wandering before the Garden got crowded…

Dimples!

Squeeeeeze –

And last but not least, a sweet mama moment:

I’m taking a quick break from my Public Garden shoot editing to show you some shots I took this morning of little teenie 6 day old baby N. He’s the little brother of a friend of my Annie’s from school, and his big sister is exactly one year younger than Annie, and now he’s exactly one year younger than my Sadie! It’s so fun to see this same age difference play out again, and I have to admit it’s incredible to have it be a year later for me, and to see this sweet big sistering again.
His big sister F is so loving and sweet with him. Doesn’t he look comfortable in her lap, snoozing away?

Yup, all ten toes.

And one sweet little nose:

Those toes needed a kiss:

And maybe a little tickle:

And last but not least, a cuddle with mama.
So exciting for me to meet N, and see you guys this AM. Congratulations!

Pardon the blog title… can you tell I’ve been watching the finale of Lost as I edit these photos? I’ve got Party of Five on the brain (Lost’s Jack was Charlie on Pof5 back in the day). But that’s neither here nor there.
I am so in love with these four kiddos from last weekend. The energy in the group was palpable – it really did feel like a party as we ran around their yard and got these crazy pictures.

Um, best little sister shot EVER? This is one of those that should be printed in some enormous size somewhere. Hilarious.

The kids were right. I reluctantly poked my head through the trampoline’s mesh, feeling like the angle I had would be tough to work with… but they insisted, and I love that they were totally right. Adorable jumping shots in there. Such fun. Love baby L’s chubby little legs high in the air.

The foursome, looking almost posed :)

Wooohooo!

Funny faces – (complete with adoring little L staring up at her big sister S)

Ahhhh!

Aaaaaaand break! Great shoot, I loved it. Thanks so much for having me :)

I’ve bumped these guys to the top of my queue because Dad is about to go out of town and he needs to bring some pictures of his little guy and his pretty lady with him when he leaves. So they were actually my 2nd shoot of the day last Sunday when I had a day of 13 twenty minute mini-shoots, there was still a cool breeze in the air.
Big boy M had fun on the ducks first…
BTW, side note – I was wondering this as I watched the ducks statues over the course of the day… do you think they’re the most photographed landmark in Boston? I think they very well might be. There are very few minutes of daylight when they’re not being photographed with someone sitting on top of them… (from adult men in their suits to cutie toddlers like little M). Can anyone think of a local landmark that gets more shutter clicks each day?
Sorry, back to business…

These cute teeth kill me:

Flying…

Handsome and beauty, together:

Staring out over the water… Isn’t the tush perfect?

A minute at the end, a sweet mama cuddle.

Poke!

We were supposed to be taking pictures of just the boys, but I couldn’t help getting a few with their mom in them too. I love this one:

Aren’t they handsome dudes?

The big brother hug – just a leeeetle too tight…

And the toe tickle…

Check out the adoration in little J’s eyes as he watches big J here:

And here’s another momma one. Just couldn’t resist.

Adoration again.

Sticking out that cute little tongue.

I got to come back and see these two sweet boys last weekend, and since I last saw them they’d welcomed a beautiful sister. Look at the boys cooperating here, while baby A gives her big brother a poke.

Doesn’t she have a gorgeous grin?

And mom gave them a little puppet show, which was a hit for all three:

Brother hug:

Best expression ever:

Piggies:

Walking (really early!) with dad:

It was great to see you guys again!

When 4 year old C ran at top speed to the top of these stairs at the Bunker Hill Monument last Saturday, I followed behind as quickly as I could (even after doing Aaron Washburn’s Dorchester Boot Camp all week… sore legs and all – I ran after him because the fun and zany mood C was in made me think there might be some photo awesomeness to be had…)
And I was right. I am just giggling so hard over this super-fast moment that happened when C reached the top of the stairs.

I loved going back and seeing this family after a couple of year hiatus. The last time I saw C he was one year old, and they lived in Back Bay. Now these guys call Charlestown home, and this ticklefest occurred in their great little yard before we headed over to the Monument. Don’t Mom and big brother C look really alike in the eyes as they laugh?

Closeup of the boys together, with their matching grins.

One of big bro C:

And one of little brother N, giggling outside when we reached Monument Square.

There’s lots going on in this one, and I love the story it tells. N on Mom’s shoulders isn’t so sure about this experience, Mom looks pretty as can be, and if you squint you can see Dad coming up the hill behind them, with big C slung over his shoulder.

Some hugs with dad and C:

A toss with the Monument behind them, flying boy and all:

It was really fun to see you guys again – thanks for calling!

Three years ago, I took pictures of this little guy in his pretty mama’s belly, and it was so much fun for me to get to see them again, but this time to celebrate his little brother or sister’s impending arrival. Love this tender moment:

A PERFECT circle. No joke. No Photoshop trickery here.

Asking baby questions:

Reaching…

A cuddle for mama:

Handsome, handsome boy.

Pretty mama by the window:

All hands on deck!

Love the wedding photo in the background. Looks like this should be titled “The Story of a Family”

Sweet baby smooches:

And lastly, palming the basketball belly. Wonderful to share this time with you guys again, thanks so much for calling!

Oh, woe is me! Our very own baby turned one last week and I can’t believe how big she’s getting. You might imagine by the nature of my business how much I adore… love, love, love the smoosh, the smell, the deliciousness of everything that is a baby. And my own littlest bear is a big girl of one now. Can’t believe how quickly this year flew by.
You must forgive a mama for posting WAY too many photos of our birthday cake adventures from the other day, but I have a hard time editing my own munchkins.
Happy birthday, my sweet little Sadie bean.

Annie presents her with her cupcake, Sadie’s thrilled, but not sure why yet.

Hmmm, this could work…

Yup, yup, I could get into this…

No, I don’t need you to have any more licks of the frosting, mum.

It’s MY cupcake… and I might even give you a bite, big sister…

Or maybe you’ll just take a bite without asking. I guess that’s OK. Hmmm. OK, fine.

My big sister’s the coolest!

And this is my girl – this moment, this look in her eye – she looks like herself to me here.
xox mum

I hadn’t seen this little beauty since she was just a teenie, tiny, newborn. It’s been a year, and she is such an adorable little one year old now! Let’s start with this one, so you can see the rolls:

I love the edge of a smile you can see here on baby A as she goes nose to nose with her mama:

And here’s a real closeup on the eyelashes – because I was afraid you wouldn’t believe me if I told you about them without showing them to you…

Awesome hair, eh?

She looks a little like she’s in jail here… but these wrist rolls and fat little fingers kill me:

And then I had to show you the pout. Don’t you just love it? The pretty eyes and the pout here…

I love her attitude and rolls here:

Mouthful of yogurt :)

A combo of the pout and the mouthful -

And last of all, a toss in the air from dad – with hair blowing in the breeze!

I got to spend L’s first birthday with her last week – and she was perfect! Tucker thinks she’s delicious, too. (These guys were the winning bidders for this session at the Ashmont Nursery School auction in March – so glad we got to do our session on L’s big day!)

Isn’t she incredibly gorgeous? Eyes to die for, just like her big brother.

Sharing secrets.

Swinging together:

See what I mean about her brother’s eyes? Not to mention the dimples…

This grandma moment makes me happy.

So does this one.

And I think her birthday cake made L happy, too :) DeLISH.

Thanks for the fun morning, guys. Great to see you!
