First shot, last shot

I so often find that the first shot I take is a real keeper, something neat… but even more often, it’s the last one.  Here’s an example of a last shot that I love, love, love.  These three finished up their family photoshoot and headed to the water to peek at what was going on down there.

This one was one of the first few – see? Another keeper.

Now Mom and Dad in this family set me a challenge – something I don’t think I’ve been asked to do before.  They have bunches of photos of their kids together, but not many of the two of them, and even fewer of the two of them highlighted in a photo where their kids are also part of the shot.  So we had our shoot’s goal: a shot of mom and dad where the parents are highlighted, but the kids are in it, in the background almost…  I like this one, with their sweet hairbows…

Or this one – with a giggly foursome in the background.  You guys are adorable!

    These photos are just beautiful! Great to see the whole family Bridget,and "meeting" your husband. :-) Beautiful family, really beautiful. Makes me want to have a family photo taken and I think I'll put that on my "list".

    Great pictures!!! We are another family that has thousands of pictures of the kids and a rare mom and/or dad sighting among the collection.

    I think I like the one of you and Phil in the forefront and the girls with Joanna in the background.. Also like the B&W format....but the first one of the 3 girls looking in to the pond is special too! Enjoy

    #2 and #5-I love #1 too but they are so cute I like any pictures that show their faces....Honestly, you all came out so good in all of these pictures!!!

    They are all quite cute but the #1 of you all on the bench and then the one with you and phil are together and the children are in the background.

    I love #'s 1, 2 and 5! What beautiful pics!! It's a gorgeous setting, the family looks great, and I love the black and white.

    I like #'s 1,2 and 5.Even without seeing their faces{and noting later their hair}, I can tell Ailish is on the left in photo#1.She is closer to the water{more daring} and Jess captured all that,too. Great pictures!!!

    I cannot even say how much I love the last picture - with you and Philip the center of the family and those lovely girls completing it. #2 is a wonderful family shot - how you ever got such sweet smiles on everyone at once is beyond me. :) Thanks for sharing!

    I love #1 and #5. What a beautiful picture of Bridget & Philip with the kids and Joanna in the background. Its a keeper. Great location too :)

    Have to go for 1 and 5, all great pictures and as Maureen said it is nice to have Mum and Dads' picture taken with the kids.

    Bridget - it's been too long, but great to see everyone is so happy! I like the last one the best... and the second one with you all on the park bench. Maybe we'll see you in person this summer...

    Precious!!! Loved them all, especially # 1 and #5. Embarrassed to even think how long its been since I've seen you and the kids in real life. Must get together next time I'm in town. Shoud be in June, Barb should be hatching just about then!

    Bridget...all of them are great...I liove the one of the back of the 3 girls looking at the pond...but any family photo with the 6 of you is a great choice! Thanks for sharing...I was a way for a few days so didn't get the link until today...Hope all is well with you! love, Lisa

    I love all the pictures but the the last picture is special. She captured perfectly a beautiful loving family.
