3 1/2 year old R and his mom also met me on that Gloucester beach on Tuesday (I always love to book multiple shoots in one location when the location is far away from me), and we had fun running around on the sand all together:

Low tide, running to a cool little dock:

Digging with the best shovel ever:

Chasing seagulls:

And giggling:

So it’s my farewell to summer photoshoots – the end of beach sessions for New England, probably… bring on the fall. Yikes! Happy Labor Day weekend, everybody. This shot seemed fitting as a farewell.
R, it was great to see you again, and I hope you guys enjoyed the rest of your day at the beach.

Tuesday morning I met these guys at a Gloucester beach – and it was just a perfect mornng. Poor little (nearly 2 year old) W had spent the night before our shoot learning how to climb out of his pack-n-play, so his mom was worried he was exhausted… but you’d never know it from these pictures!

With his beautiful momma:

And loving bouncing around on his dad’s shoulders:

Taking a quick solitary stroll (so big compared to our first photoshoot when he was only 3 months old!):

And in a sweater made by his talented grandma:

I love this one – the cute giggling:

It was great to see you guys. Can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures. Thanks for having me up!

2 1/2 year old M loved it when her big brothers swung her – they got kind of a kick out of it, too:

The big girl by herself:

And with her big brother C:

Wonderful to see you guys again. Enjoy those last few days of summer!

These guys love their swingset:

But before we went outside, the bigger boys showed me their action poses:

I’ve been taking pictures of big brother K since he was just a little guy – look how big he is now:

Sweet middle brother N was a newborn when I first visited (he’s a big boy of 4 now):

And G joined the team two years ago now – he’s already so big!

Here are the three cuties on the couch:

And a last one on the hammock. What’s better than those giggles you get with your big brothers? Not much. Wonderful to see you guys!

I’ve been taking pictures of D, the oldest sister (4 yrs old), for years now. I got to get to know her sister L (not quite 2) last year, and now their newest sister T joined the crew a couple of weeks ago.

I met up with them last week, and they were so sweet together:

Each gorgeous on her own:

With killer smiles:

And baby T’s tiny sweetness:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – the pictures I take on days like this… when a new sibling is welcomed — they’re really my favorite moments. Thanks so much for having me visit, guys.

I took pictures of N when she was just a few weeks old, and many more times since then… and she always has such fun:

Whether she’s laughing at “There was an old lady who swallowed a fly…”:

Or giggling in her bedroom at her parents’ hilarity:

Wherever she is, there’s love and hugs. Thanks for a fun shoot, guys. See you in a couple of months for the big 3rd bday!

So at first you think these guys don’t look too much alike in this one… they definitely have their own personalities and expressions here:

But then we see big brother P:

And can compare him to little brother O:

Pretty amazing, eh? Here’s the fantastic family. All your photos will be ready ASAP!

I’ve been taking pictures of these guys for a couple of years now, and I was honored to be asked to take photos at their youngest daughter’s Baby Naming on the Cape last weekend. As I’ve mentioned before, I find that childrens’ parties just cry out for color photos – hence the color shots you see here. Little B was an absolute dream for the whole party:

Her big brother J tried out the waterslide before the rest of the revelers arrived:

Fun inside the bounce house:

B with her grandma during the ceremony:

Delicious eats:

And this is one of my favorite shots of the day. Two cuties hiding up in the waterslide having a private giggle:

It’s really impossible not to get fantastic pictures at a really fun party like this!

And one more shot with the gorgeous 13 month old girl of the day. Thanks again for having me. Your photos are just about ready!

I’ll send you an email when they’re all ready – very soon!
It was a pleasure meeting you guys – I hope the trip to visit your family was/is great. The rest of your photos will be ready by the weekend if not before.
